Late 1930’s to early 1940’s deeply carved Bakelite dress clips in the most stunning hue of coral or light orange. They are carved with roses in the center of a carved flowing starburst around in the shape of a rounded triangle. They have gold loops all around the edges - very art deco design. The clips in back function perfectly.
Condition is excellent! I carefully washed them so they’re super clean now. There are a few chips in the bakelite in back but this is completely unseen from the front and they are structurally sound and solid. Also, as you can see in the photos, they appear to have holes drilled in them - which might have been part of the original design, they are in the same place on both at the bottom of the rose. One of the actual dress clips in back is gold and the other is silver, it might have been replaced at some point. They work perfectly and present beautifully.
