1960's pink MCM print 2-piece skirt set "Glentex" brand with tags

$64.00

Absolutely gorgeous 1960's 2-piece skirt set in bright colors of pink, orange, brown and cream, very MCM in design and deadstock condition with tags on. The jacket has an amazing print with varying diagonal stripes. The sleeves are straight and 3/4 length. It is a super clean neckline with no collar and no closure, and it is fully lined in a beautiful bright orange. The tag says "Glentex" - the store price tag is not attached, but the tie it was on is still there. There is an AFL-CIO union tag on the inside seam.

The a-line skirt is constructed with panels and is a gorgeous 60s bright pink color. Its a super full skirt that has amazing movement when worn, you can tell it is very well made. The cardboard lot/size tag is still on the front waistline, clearly neither of these pieces were ever worn. The closure is a matching pink side zipper with a button at the top.

These pieces are in near perfect condition - deadstock, bright and just stunning. I did not wash them because there are tags still attached, but they have no holes, stains or odors. The only thing I could think to report would be a little bit of dirtiness at the top of the shoulders just from it living in a closet a long time. I'm certain this would wash right out, but I don't usually wash deadstock items so they can keep their original tags. This set is made of a cotton fabric that is easy to clean and care for.

The jacket/blazer says size S and the skirt says size 7, but these are more like a modern XXS/XS - or a 0-2. The measurements are as follows:

Jacket:
Bust - 38"
Sleeve - 18"
Length - 14.5"

Skirt:
Waist - 23"
Hips - open
Length - 24"

Please let me know if you need anymore photos or measurements. I've shown this unpinned on my darling size XS model. She is about 5 ft and a size 0-2.
