1960's denim side zip pants, dark rinse super high rise high waist cigarette cut - deadstock with tags

$86.00

Early 1960's dark rinse side zip jeans with a super high rise or high waist and a form fitting curvy shape that is cigarette cut hitting right at the ankle with a cute tapered silhouette. The closure is a talon side zipper with a button at the waist. There is also a tab with elastic at the back that has two button options on either side to wear tighter or looser. These are made from a dark rinse denim that is 71% cotton and 29% nylon which gives them just a bit of stretch for such a flattering fit. These are such a great vintage separate - classic staple item for any vintage closet!

These pants are deadstock with all the original tags still attached including the brand and retail tags. Brand is "Glenbrooke" and the tag says "Glenbrooke Penn-prest means you never iron when tumble dried" - there is also a paper fabric/size tag on the front still intact and the "Penneys" department store tag which tells us these were $5 back in the early 60s. Condition is pristine perfect new old stock.

Size is a modern medium to large or about a modern size 6 to 8. The model shown is 5'6" with a 33.5/27/38.5 and they were darling on her but could accommodate a bit larger as well. The measurements are as follows:
