1950's cotton print wiggle dress with abstract polka dots in moody shades of rust tan and grey blue on a charcoal background with an allover kind of cracked look - it's so cool. The collar and sleeve cuffs have this cream stitch in stripes that cross at the points of the collar in a very distinctive way. It's shirtwaist with covered buttons that have a circle in the middle and a snap at the waist. The silhouette is classic 50s wiggle, very figure flattering. It has a matching covered belt and 3/4 sleeves that button with pointed cuffs. Closure is the buttons down the front.
Brand tag says "Kabro of Houston" and condition is very good. The only problem, is that it needed a wash, and I used all my best methods but I still got a bit of color bleed just from the dark rust circles. You can see what I'm referring to, but it isn't very noticeable with how busy this print is. I have priced accordingly. Other than that, clean as can be with no holes, stains or odors. Presents beautifully with years of wear to go.
Size is a modern M or around a modern size 6-8. I have shown it clamped on the form for proper shape but also flat for your reference. The measurements are as follows:
Bust - 41"
Waist - 28"
Hips - 41"
Shoulder to waist - 16.75"
Waist to hem - 26.75" 2 plus seam allowance
Belt - holes at 28,29,30
