1950's 3-piece skirt set, blouse skirt and belt, novelty cat print top with matching belt and cat appliqué on quilted full skirt size 8 23-24" waist

1950's 3-piece skirt set featuring a darling novelty cat print and theme. The top is a button up blouse with a very cute print of little moody cats and has a collar and puff sleeves both lined with lace trim. It also has a little black bow at the center of the collar. The skirt is very full, a classic 50s silhouette with bias set quilting and a bit appliqué cat in the same fabric as the top but with fun red trim details. The belt is covered in the cat fabric and there are loops in the skirt it fit it perfectly. So novelty, playful and charming. 

No tags in this set and it might be homemade as I know this family was very talented in this realm. Purchased from the original owner who wore it as a child, her name is Lucie. Condition is excellent. Fixed a few seam separations in the top which is solid now and there was a place between two of the holes in the belt that had ripped through but I took a tight whip stitch through them and now you would never know. There are just a few places that the quilting thread has come out - very few and not at all noticeable. Overall condition is excellent with no holes, stains or odors and years of wear to go.
