1950's 2-piece skirt set featuring the most darling felt appliqué of little white daisies with green leaves and yellow pom centers. The flower on the left shoulder of the bodice has a bumble bee on it - which is so novelty and fun! The top of this set is sleeveless and buttons up the back. It's cut to be tucked. The skirt is super full with a metal side zipper and two hook and eyes at the waistline. It has tulle built in for amazing fullness and movement when worn. There are 5 flowers oriented more to the right side balanced perfectly by the flower on the left of the top. Fabric is a lovely rayon linen blend.
Brand tag is in top and skirt and says "Imported fabric Glenerie a pure Irish linen and rayon blend" - clearly a high end brand as the construction is beautiful. Condition is excellent. The only flaws to report is the top back button is a little chipped on the backside. Does not in any way disrupt the functionality of the button and it is unseen when worn. There is also the very tiniest mark that did not come out in laundering right under the collar in front but it's very hard to see, barely there. As you can see it presents almost like new with years of wear to go. The only reason this incredible set is priced gently is because the size is very uncommonly small.
