1930’s light pink midi dress with attached tie at waist, puff sleeves, tiered skirt, pink metal crown zipper, fully restored size M

1930's light petal pink midi length dress featuring a dramatic tiered skirt and puff sleeves. This dress has a square neckline that goes into a flattering gathered bust with attached ties at either side of the waist. The waist panel has a wide point at the top and bottom and the closure is the prettiest pink bell shaped metal crown zipper. 

I believe it was handmade along with the others from this estate, but all were very well made. This dress had some storage staining and I'm so happy with how it came out after 2 soaks, very clean and the most lovely shade of pink. However one little yellowish stain remained right at the center of the neckline so I pulled some seam fabric and made a triangle patch to cover it, not at all noticeable now. I've included a photo of the patch but I did make that after the main photos. Easy to remove as the stain is quite faint but I think it looks better covered. When I found it both the ties were pulled out of the dress and one side was missing completely. I was able to cut that one in half longways and sew down the raw edge then I sewed that into the holes in the bodice where the ties were originally intact. Because the original tie was wider there is stitching on top and bottom of the new skinnier tie but it does not distract in my opinion. The bottom tier of the skirt is doubled so you could let it down if desired. I noticed a small area on that doubled tier where it looks like it got a bit scratched but there are not holes, very hard to see with the fullness but I've included a photo for reference. Now there are no holes, stains or odors, beautifully restored and presents like a dream.

Shoulder to waist - 15" to tie 

Waist to hem - 35"
