Incredible 1940's dark black dress featuring a beaded illusion neckline that has intertwined silver and turquoise beads that make a bow - including turquoise beads throughout the illusion lace for a very dramatic effect. This dress has all the must have 40's details, shoulder pads, asymmetrical pleated hip swag, midi length and generous short sleeves. Closure is a side zip plus a little zip at the top of the back. The most rare feature of this dress is that is still has the belt! It's a darling belt with a tacked on bow that would look cute in the front or back - it has 2 snaps and it's in perfect shape.
Condition is truly excellent - it was soaked and very carefully steamed so there is no iron shine and no holes, stains or odors. The color is still a deep inky black with no fade and the movement of the cold rayon is absolutely gorgeous when on.
Size is a modern small or about a size 4. It fit my 4/6 model like a glove as you can see. Please note that in some of the modeling photos, we didn't even realize one of the shoulder pads was out of the dress. I hadn't seen this dress in so long I thought it first it was a bow on the shoulder I didn't remember, but in the video it's tucked in, sorry about that! The measurements are as follows:
Bust - 36"

Waist to bottom hem - 29.25"
