1960's maxi dress or gown, bright fuchsia pink, bow on waistline

$98.00

1960's vibrant fuchsia pink formal dress or gown with a gorgeous criss-cross bodice creating a wide v-neck and a nipped waist that has a tonal bow on the left side where the neckline crosses in front. Long sleeves with a very long and full skirt. Fit is tighter on the bodice and more flowy through the skirt. The fabric is a beautiful lightweight poly that has a very soft hand and stunning movement when worn. Closure is a back zipper with a hook and eye at the top. The designer Edith Flagg was actually the first american designer to bring polyester into wide production, and it is a lovely blend with incredible color, plus its easy to wash and wear! This dress make a statement with the bright pink color and figure flattering design, a wonderful example of late 60s formal wear fashion.

Tag in neckline says "Edith Flagg California" an exclusive imported fabric especially designed for us. The cardboard size and lot tag is still in the zipper panel which makes me think this dress has hardly been worn if ever. Condition is excellent! Zero fade, no holes, stains or odors, presents like new.

Size is a modern medium or about a size 8. My model is a modern 8 with 39/28/42 and it was beautiful on her. The measurements are as follows:

Bust - 36.5" (but with the criss cross design can accommodate larger)
Waist - 28-28.5"
Hips - open (47")
Shoulder to waist - 16.25"
Waist to hem - 41.5"
Shoulder - 15.25"
