1950's pleated super full skirt in the most stunning textured fabric that is almost like an abstract plaid with color specks of light blue, pink, tan, brown, white and black all woven into one another - I love MCM fabric like this, so pretty and easy to match with a variety of other garments. This skirt has a classic and timeless 50s silhouette, tight at the waist with a very full skirt that is dying for a dance floor. Closure is a back metal zipper with a very pretty marbled brown button on the waistband. This is a very interesting skirt in that the closure is in back and the brand tag is in front, but you could put the zipper anywhere as the shape will be the same throughout. The skirt is cut from many panels that get larger at the bottom which helps create the amazing shape and movement when worn.
The brand tag says "House of Nine" California. It has little hanger loops on either side. Condition is excellent! I found no flaws in this skirt, no holes, stains, or odors, in amazing shape and presents almost like new.
Size is a modern XS to S or around a modern size 4. It was a great fit on the model shown who has a 31/24.5/36.5 frame and is 5'8 for reference. The measurements are as follows:
Waist - 24.5" max (but you could maybe move the button a bit, not much without exposing the zipper)
Hips - open
Length - 25.75" (generous seam allowance over 3")
Sweep - 115"
