Early 1950's beautiful sage green dress in a soft shantung silk. This dress has a pretty collar around the v-neckline and very distinctive buttons down the bodice. It is shirtwaist with a hook and eye at the waist and a metal zipper under that, hidden by a panel that goes down the middle of the skirt. 3/4 sleeves and thoughtful pleating for a very flattering fit. There are also small shoulder pads to create a flattering shape. Just a lovely example of 50s semi-forml fashion.
The brand tag says "A Lady Petite Fashion" and it is so darling. This dress is in near perfect condition. I soaked it twice and it came out of the second soak like new. No holes, stains, or odors, beautifully made and years of wear to go.
