1950's soft wool cowichan cardigan sweater featuring a black snowflake print in between yellow chain stripes. It has a large rolled collar and thick rib knit at sleeve cuffs and hem. There are two small pockets in front. The zipper is metal and bell shaped.
No tags in this sweater which is not uncommon for cowichans from this time. Condition is excellent. I gave it a long soak and reinforced the stitching of the zipper panel. As you cn see it presents beautifully now with no holes, stains, or odors. I purchased this sweater from the daughter of the original owner. His name was Mike and he lived in west Canada in the 40s and 50s.

Sleeve - 25.5" (cuffed)
