Late 1940's to early 1950's dark chocolate brown blazer jacket with spiky gold buttons. This blazer has a notched collar and the cut and construction is so beautiful. There are little tabs at the rounded shoulder yoke with buttons and two generous pockets on the bottom from that also have button tabs. Long sleeves with pointed sleeve cuffs at the bottom. The blazer is fully lined and silky soft, super easy to slip on and off. I'm not positive what the main fabric is but it is a gorgeous winter weight and most likely cold rayon or a rayon blend of some kind. It has a lovely hand and feels amazing on. There are shoulder pads built in and so the silhouette is classic 40s.
Brand tag says "Marce' Original" and condition is outstanding. There are no holes, stains or odors. The one problem was there was a single button missing - and the buttons are so cool and distinctive I've literally been trying to find one that matches for over a year. Finally I decided to just replace the two pocket button tabs with plain gold buttons - it does not distract from how special this jacket is, but I'm so sad about the one missing spike button. Other than that it presents like a dream with no other flaws to report.
Size is a modern M/L. I have shown it unpinned on my dress form so it looks loose but it will look more curvy on a person. The measurements are as follows:
