1980's super colorful floral and leaf print pants with thick elastic waist, side pockets, and a relaxed comfy fit with a tapered leg. These pants are everything thats right about 80s fashion! The print is amazing in shades of purple, turquoise, fuchsia, gold and white on a black background so the colors really pop. There are deep pleats radiating from the flat front waistband in front which create really pretty fullness and the waistband is thick and super gathered with stretchy elastic around the back so the fit is comfortable as can be and easy to wear. They have a SUPER high waist high rise which is so cute. These can be dressed up or down. I've shown them with a 50s turquoise sweater sold separately in the shop. I love the big pockets on either side - just a super cool vintage pant that fits easily into a modern or vintage wardrobe.
These are deadstock, never once worn with the original tags still attached. The brand is "Grand Nouveau" and the fabric is a beautiful soft and flowy 100% rayon. Rayon was commonly used in the 80s put it is not the same rayon as cold rayon or rayon crepe from the 40s. This 80s rayon is easy to wear and care for and super comfortable. Condition is pristine perfect off the rack 40+ years later. No flaws, present like brand new because they are brand new.
Size tag says medium but could easily fit a modern small to medium. I've shown them on my model Anna who is about 5'8" tall and a size 4 with a 36/24.5/36 and they were darling on her but could easily accommodate a larger size as well. The measurements are as follows:
