1960's pale yellow tank dress with stunning tonal floral & vine embroidery on either side in front and little embroidered vines throughout the dress. A unique feature of this embroidery is the larger flowers have a honeycomb lace on the petals which give it amazing dimension. The embroidery creates a kind of "portrait" vibe to the dress, truly wearable art! And I love how there are vines on the back of dress as well, it was clearly very well made. There is piping on the neckline and arm holes. This dress is made from easy to wear and care for 100% cotton, closure is a talon zipper with a hook and eye in back and it is fully lined, also in cotton. It has that classic 60's mod sheath dress vibe but with a Hawaiian twist because of the flower design.
I found no tag in this dress, but I would be surprised if it was handmade, although it is possible, if so, it was an expert seamstress. I have done a few soaks on this dress because there are 3 stubborn stains, very small, but I did not succeed in making them disappear which is the reason for the low price on such a special dress. There is one up by the neckline, one about halfway down and one near the bottom. They are all very small, and a light grey color, maybe some kind of ink? None of my old tricks would get them out. As you can see, they are not noticeable when worn, and honestly this dress presents just beautifully!
Size is a modern medium or an 8 but it was darling unpinned on my size 6 model, it looks great worn a bit loose or tight, just personal preference. The measurements are as follows:

Waist - 31.5"
Hips - 39"
Length - 40"
