Y2K designer pullover sweater in a darling black and white plaid with silver sparkle thread and silver sequins throughout. This sweater is beautifully made by designer Karl Lagerfeld. It has thick black rib knit on the neckline sleeve cuffs and and bottom hem with white stripes. Crew neckline, long sleeves, darling fit and design. The fabric is a super soft acrylic/poly/nylon/spandex knit blend.
As I mentioned this is a high end designer brand "Karl Lagerfeld Paris" sweater. This sweater was purchased from the estate of a very classy woman who had been a worldwide concert pianist. She lived in the penthouse suite of a well known downtown SLC building. I have a connection to the family and was able to shop the estate first, much of what she had was high end beautiful pieces like this sweater that had hardly or never been worn. The only problem is that much of it was more modern than what I usually sell, so I focused on timeless pieces. I'm not positive on the dating of this sweater, it could be more modern than early Y2K - but it has a classic print and quality.
Condition is excellent. No holes, stains or odors, as you can see, it presents beautifully with years of wear to go.
Size is a modern large to extra large or around a 10/12. The size tag says L which is accurate to modern sizing. The measurements are as follows:
Bust - 42-47"
Bottom hem - 39-44"
Shoulder - 16.5" unstretched
Length - 22.5"
Sleeve - 26.5"
