1970's Chambray denim blazer in a very nice weight cotton fabric that has a cool chambray texture and high contrast white stitch and buttons. It has an amazing collar - just the epitome of a dramatic 70s style big collar. This jacket also has a lovely figure flattering shape with a half belt attached at the seams in back with buttons. Lots of little details like that make this a really special piece. There are matching white buttons on the pockets as well as 3 on either sleeve cuff.
No tags in this blazer and I believe it was handmade. One clue on this is that left size is a bit shorter than the right side in front. You can see what I'm talking about in photos, but honestly, it just speaks to the vintage nature of the piece and doesn't really bother me. Other than this there are not flaws to report. Freshly washed with no holes, stains or odors, presents just beautifully and ready to wear!
Size is a modern medium to large. I'm wearing it in the photos and it fits me fine, but would be really cute worn looser too. My measurements are 41/31/39 - it has no stretch as it is a ridged cotton, but it could accommodate a variety of sizes depending on how loose or tight you prefer things - anyone larger than me might find it too small unless worn unbuttoned. The measurements are as follows:
Bust - 40"
Waist - 34"
Length - 27"
Sleeve - 23"
I've shown this clamped on the form but it is unpinned on me and also shown flat for your reference. Please let me know if you need anymore photos or measurements.
