Late 1950's to early 1960's true green floral embossed brocade 2-piece formal dress set. The most darling fit and flare dress sleeveless with a scoop neckline and backline. Diagonal darts radiate from the center of the waist for a darling fitted bodice and all around the skirt are deep box pleats creating beautiful fullness and a very polished look. There's a bow at the center waistline. Closure is a matching metal zipper down the back. It has a darling matching jacket with bracelet sleeves with articulated elbows, cropped to the waist, fully lined, the overall look is so pretty! This rich green color could be worn at anytime, but it would be very special as a holiday dress.
There are no tags, but I'm very impressed with the construction. Condition is pristine! Freshly washed and clean as can be. No holes, stains, or odors, presents like new!
Size is a modern small to medium or around a modern size 6. I've shown it clamped on the form for proper shape but also flat for your reference. The measurements are as follows:
