Late 1950’s floral 3-piece dress set abstract MCM print, fit & flare shape matching jacket and belt

$98.00

Late 1950’s 3 piece dress set featuring a beautiful fit and flare dress, a matching cropped jacket and belt. The fabric is silky soft - it feels to me like some kind of nylon blend. The print is the epitome of a cool MCM abstract design, it almost looks like a rock wall or ice cubes in shades of pink and a kind of brown olive green. The outline of the print is black. The dress has a classic 50s fit and flare silhouette with darts at teh bust and pleats at the top of the skirt which creates beautiful fullness when worn. Closure is a metal back zipper that matches perfectly and it has a hook and eye at the top. The matching jacket is cropped with a half sleeve and has little pockets on either side in front. It also has a beautiful matching belt. This dress set is a beautiful example of early 50s casual fashion.

The tag is great, it says "Westover Walker" and the l and k in walker are two walking legs, so cute! Condition is excellent. No holes, stains or odors, freshly washed. Presents almost like new!
