1970’s floral dress in a classic fit and flare shape with a super flowy bias cut skirt. The print of this dress is SO cool - I want it in a wallpaper, the colors are shades of pink, yellow and green and there are. a variety of colorful flowers throughout. The print is in a sheer overlay but the dress is lined in a soft and shiny acetate. It has a classic 70s poly notched collar in white and white rounded buttons down the front. It has a hook and eye at the waist and a snap under that so it's very easy to get on and off. The cut is more fitted in the bodice with a full and flowing skirt that has amazing movement when worn. It was a breezy day so in some of the photos it is being blown to one side. This dress is perfect for any spring or summer occasion.
There is a tag in the neckline, but it is a fabric/care tag not a brand tag. It tells us this dress is made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton with an acetate lining. Also it is a machine was item which is such a rare bonus for vintage. Condition is excellent! Freshly washed with no holes, stains or odors. I did discover a small run on the skirt of the fabric while I was pressing it, but it is nearly impossible to see when worn with the fullness of the skirt and in no way distracts from the lovely presentation of this stunning dress.
Size is a modern small or around a modern 4 to 6. I've shown it clamped on the form - but not in the video. The measurements are as follows:
