1950's fit and flare shirtwaist dress cotton w/incredible tiki style geometric print, gold buttons, Peter Pan collar, box pleat in back size S/M 27.5" waist

1950's cotton fit and flare dress with a very cool geometric tiki style print in shades of yellow tan and brown on a cream background. This dress is a classic style and silhouette with a small Peter Pan collar and gold buttons going down the bodice plus cuffed short sleeves. It is shirtwaist and has a hook and snap at the waist. There is a big box pleat in back which creates a bit of a blouson, very polished and darling. The skirt is super full with deep pleats all around the waist so it has lovely movement when worn. The fabric is easy to wash and wear cotton. 

There is a union tag in the neckline but no brand tag, it is very beautifully made. Condition is excellent. Freshly washed with no holes stains or odors. The only flaw to report is there are belt loops but no belt which is not a big deal as it looks great without and there are a large variety of belts that would look good with this dress. Presents like a dream! 

Size is a modern small to medium or around a size 6. The measurements are as follows: 

Bust - 37.5"

Waist - 27.5"

Hips - open

Shoulder to waist - 15"

Waist to hem - 24"
