Incredible 1970's disco era dress featuring a sparkly peplum top with an elastic waist and a lightweight flowy skirt on bottom. The most distinctive feature of this dress is the back - it has 2 triangle pieces that overlap with buttons and gives you a pretty v-backline and a little triangle window of your lower back. There is a zip closure at the back of the skirt part of the dress which is nice because you get a better fit than with just elastic at the waist. I just LOVE this dress, it has disco vibes, but in a super classy way and honestly it looks so modern on.
There is no tag, but I don't believe it was handmade because there is evidence in the back seam of a tag existing at some point. Condition is perfect! The seam had come a little undone at the back slit in the skirt but I repaired it and now it presents just beautifully. Recently laundered, no holes, stains or odors, excellent vintage condition.
Best fit is an XS/S or about a modern 4. My model is a size 4/6 for your reference, but it could fit a smaller frame as well. The measurements are as follows:
Bust - 34-38"
Waist - 22-27"
Hips - 37-38"
Length - 41"
