1950’s a-line red corduroy or pincord skirt w/gold buttons

$46.00

1950’s red corduroy a-line skirt with pockets on either side that have gold buttons. Classic and timeless in its design with a perfect 50s silhouette. Hits high on the waist with a thick waistband and skirt is cut in 4 triangle panels. It has 2 red buttons at the back with a metal zipper below that. The perfect 50s separate for any vintage closet.

I discovered no tags but there was one hanger loop in the waistband which makes me think it might not have been handmade, either way it is beautifully made and in excellent condition. Freshly washed with no holes, stains, or odors. I've sewn in a tiny spot where the pocket was starting to come off at the top of the right pocket - you would never know it was there in the first place but I wanted to make sure it doesn't turn into a problem. As you can see, it presents like a dream!

Size is a modern XS or with the petite proportions could also fit a kids 12/14 or so. The model shown is a size 0, she is 5'1" with a 32/23/34. The skirt measurements are as follows:

Waist - 25-25.25" max
Hips - open (41")
Length - 23.25" (barely a half inch seam allowance)
