Early 1970’s children’s dress blue & white gingham sailor collar with red neck tie and matching doll outfit

Early 1970’s blue and white gingham plaid little girls dress with white sailor collar that has blue piping and a red neck tie. Very nautical sweet and fun for patriotic American occasions as well. Sheath dress silhouette with puff sleeves and the white buttons have little elephants on them. The fabric is a soft easy to care for polyester. It comes with a matching 2 piece top ant pant set for a doll. 

These items and a matching adult dress (now sold) were all made by the darling woman I purchased them from. Her name was Glenda and she made these in the 1970’s. Condition is excellent, freshly washed and pressed with zero holes or odors. I noticed the teeniest mark on the underside of the red necktie. Shown in photos but totally unseen when worn.
