Early 1960's Bobbie Brooks wiggle dress in a beautiful light orange or coral hue. It has a pretty mandarin style collar with a button panel down the front that has side by side pearl buttons going down the center. The sleeves are about bracelet length with double button cuffs at the end. This dress has a very flattering wiggle silhouette with two pleats on either side in front and princess seams in back. It has a back zip closure with a hook and eye at the top. The fabric is an easy to wear and care for cotton. Very cool early 60s minimalist mod design, a great example of 60s fashion.
Brand tag is one of my all time favorites "Bobbie Brooks" known for beautifully made high design dresses. Condition is excellent. It came my way with a broken metal zipper, so I had my tailor replace the zipper expertly which is shown in photos. This dress is freshly washed with no holes or odors. I fixed a tiny seam separation at the sleeve cuff and there is no sign of it now. I did notice as i was preparing it the teeniest little stain, it is a grey dot smaller than a pinhead halfway down the left sleeve. Very faint and not at all noticeable when worn. I have only priced this so low because of the very small size, it is just super hard to find people this small so all my XXS items are priced gently. It truly presents just beautifully, pressed and ready to wear.
Size is a modern XS or around a size 4. The model shown is 5'1" and about a 32/23/34. The measurements are as follows:
