1970's 2-piece dress set featuring the most darling tank dress and matching cardigan. The fabric is a vibrant true red with small black polka dots in a soft lovely poly thats easy to wash and wear. The dress has a very cute design with thick tank straps and a straight band around the top, slightly blouson with an elastic waist and a flowing full skirt. The shoulder straps button in the back which is such a cute detail with the matching black buttons. Closure is a matching talon back zipper. The cardigan top is long sleeve with elastic at the end of the sleeves giving them a very cool shape. It has pin-tucks at the front shoulder yoke and coming out of the half built in belt around the back. Both pieces could easily be worn with other outfits but they are so darling worn together.
Brand tag is so hilarious to me, it says "Simon Sez" in a funky font. Under that there is a care and lot tag. condition is outstanding. Freshly washed and pristine with no holes, stains or odors. As you can see, it presents like a dream with many years of wear to go.
Size XS to M - with the stretchy elastic waist it can accommodate a variety of sizes. The model shown is 5'6" with a 34/27/38 and it was darling on her but could fit a bit smaller or even a touch larger as well. The measurement are as follows:
Dress:
Bust - 34"
Waist - 22-28"
Hips - open
Shoulder to waist - 15.5" (worn slightly blouson)
Waist to hem - 28.5" (2" or so seam allowance)
Jacket:
Bust - 35" but open with no closure
Length - 24.25"
Shoulder - 14.75"
Sleeve - 25"
