1960's blouson style dress in the most amazing bright color print that looks a little like abstract flowers in shades of fuchsia, orange, and light lime green with black and white in the background - so MCM and very cool. This dress has a crew neckline, and a full skirt with an elastic waist. The fabric is a lightweight synthetic, super soft, easy to wash and wear. The sleeves are bishop cut with loads of pleats coming from a long cuff that has 3 covered buttons. Closure is a metal back zipper with a hook and eye at the top.
No tags and it is possible this dress was handmade. Condition is excellent. The only flaw to report is that I did have to replace one of the covered buttons on the left sleeve cuff with a black velvet covered button - same size and looks very cool actually. It's worth noting that there is another channel above the elastic waist that possibly had elastic as well or was intended to - it doesn't look bad and I don't know if I want to dive into the seam and try and match the elastic exactly with the one below that is already there, just a note. Freshly washed and ready to wear with years of wear to go.
Size is a flexible medium with the elastic waist and blouson shape it can fit a variety of sizes:
Bust - 41" (worn blousey)
Waist - 24-28"
Hips - open
Shoulder to waist - 16.5"
Waist to hem - 23"
