1950's patio dress red white bandana print with silver trim & rope belt, fit and flare size XXS

1950's classic western patio dress featuring a red bandana style print with details in white and silver including silver and red wavy ric-rac and silver and black lurex ribbon trim around collared neckline. The very full skirt has a white panel in the middle and it's a dolman cut on top with a cap sleeve. Beautiful easy to care for lightweight cotton fabric. Waist is elastic which you really only see in patio dresses or children's from this time. This dress might have been children's as it is a petite cut but as you can see it fits a small adult well. It is a set with a white rope belt included and belt loops as well. Classic 50s western fashion. 

Brand tag says "Western Girl Gala Dress styled by Kate Schorer" which is another clue this may have been made for girls not women. Condition is excellent. The elastic had lost stretch halfway around so I replaced it so it's stretchy throughout the waist now. I also fixed some small separations, you would never know they were there. Washed and pressed with no holes, stains or odors. Most notable flaw is the belt is unravelling its twist a bit in the middle. I have put some thread though it to try and keep it coiled but there is still an area where the roping twist is looser. As you can see it still presents beautifully. The only reason for the very low price on such a rare and special piece is because is an XS petite cut - pay close attention to the measurements including the short shoulder to waist as it will not fit a taller person or someone who does not have a short waist torso. 

Size is a modern XS or about a size 0-2. Shown here on Krista who is about a 32/23/34 and 5 feet tall. The measurements are as follows: 

Bust - 35" (but dolman so hard to say for sure)

Waist - 23-26" (very nice stretch)

Hips - open

Shoulder to waist - 14.5" petite

Waist to hem - 25"
