1940's black peplum dress with covered buttons down the bodice gold studs on chest peplum & sleeves border print pattern & matching belt fully restored size XXS 24" waist

1940's black studded peplum dress with the most incredible details. The black studs are in a border print pattern very much in the mood of Fred Block. There are functional covered buttons going up the front, with a tie at the top neckline. There is a hook and eye at the waistline and a metal zipper under that which is how the dress closes. The studs have a copper hue which is gorgeous agains the dark black rayon. There is a matching belt as well. 

No tags and it is possible this was handmade although unlikely with the very fine stud work and buttons etc. I purchased with with a lot of 3 same time period dresses, all beautifully made and none with a tag. This dress was quite dirty so I gave it a soak and very careful steam out. It's now in nearly perfect condition. I took photos with and without the belt and I prefer the look without as the belt is not in as great shape and much harder to fully restore. But obviously I'll send the belt with it for your option. .No flaws to report other than the belt and priced gently for size.

Size is a modern XXS or around a size 0-2. The measurements are as follows:
