1960s blue reversible plaid vintage spring/fall coat. The plaid is a colorful blend of navy, light blue, red, and yellow. It has plastic buttons on both sides that are a marbled dark and light blue. This coat is lightweight for warmer winter climates or Fall/Spring as it is not insulated but you could easily layer under it. You can see the reverse color at the sleeve cuff and closure is the big buttons down the front. There are generous pockets on both sides. Fabric is and easy to wash and wear 100% cotton.
No tags as this coat is handmade by a family I know well. The gal who owned this coat originally is my friend and neighbor Lucie. She has been clearing out her parents estate in Southern Idaho and she has an amazing memory with stories about every item. She called this her "tartan plaid" jacket. Straight from the original owner to me!
Because of this short owner history condition is excellent. However there were some small ink stains on the blue side on and above the right pocket and a tiny one right next to the left pocket. They are so small and very hard to notice but I have priced gently as they did not come out when I soaked the coat. The light blue side does show some wear, just a bit faded and thin around the pockets. Overall presentation is beautiful and flawless on the plaid side. Presents beautifully with years of wear to go.
Size is a modern children's 10-12. The model shown is almost 11 and she is a 27/24/30. Could fit a bit larger child as well, plus you have the option to not cuff the sleeves for extended wear. The measurements are as follows:

Sleeve: 20" (22" when uncuffed)
