Early 1960's (but looks totally 50s) pleated circle skirt in the most stunning cotton plaid print. This plaid is in shades of red and gold and it is like a shiny legit gold print plaid stripe that is so pretty in person, the photos don't do that lovely contrast justice. I LOVE a 50s full skirt but I was surprised to discover a nylon talon zipper which means this skirt is early 60s rather than 50s but the style is just the same. The zip closure is on the side with a black button at the waistband. It has a thick matching belt which makes it look so polished. There are two belt loops on either side made from the plaid fabric. This skirt has pintucks all around the waistband creating beautiful fulness when worn. The perfect vintage separate for any collectors closet.
Brand is classic vintage label "Pykettes" and condition is excellent. Freshly soaked and pressed, so clean and ready to wear. No holes or odors. I did discover one tiny black spot on the front right top of the skirt between the plaid, it is almost impossible to see with all the pin-tucking at the top creating so much volume. Not at all noticeable in the print. Other than that this skirt is just perfect with years of wear to go.
Size is a modern small or around a size 4/6. I did not clamp it on the form but the belt is making the waistband tighter. The measurements are as follows:
Waist - 26"

Belt - 5 holes from 25-28.25
Sweep - 54"
