Late 1990's to early 2000's Diane Von Furstenberg gaucho or cropped palazzo pants. These pants are black and the gorgeous fabric is 97% wool and 3% lycra, it feels so soft and has just a touch of stretch. They have a high waist and two snap buttons on either side at the waistline in matte gold. Closure is a hidden zipper on the left side that has a hook and eye at the top and the snaps above that on the waistband. There are slit pockets on either side and the shape and design of these pants is so timeless and cool. I honestly have come across very few designer items that are so modern so I've had a hard time dating these for sure. I bought them with a large lot of clothing that was almost all 40s and 50s and randomly they had 4 pristine designer pieces that were a bit more modern. I've done some research and they have all the markers of being authentic as do the the other designer pieces I acquired with them. The beautiful wool fabric is another indication of their authenticity. But I'm not positive on the dating, they could be more modern, but most items in this estate were MUCH older so I'm not positive on the date for these amazing piece.
As I mentioned brand is Diane Von Furstenberg, they also have a size and care tag as well as a fabric tag in the side seam as well as the DVF hologram tag of authenticity. Condition is pristine perfect. They appear to have never been worn (with the exception of my model of course). No holes, stains, or odors, no problems of any kind to report.
Size tag says 8, but as you can see they fit my size 6 model beautifully, but the measurements are consistent with a modern size 8.
