1980's high waist high rise pants. I love the print in colorful cool tones of purple, teal, sage navy and olive that has vines and diamonds in a lovely pattern. These pants have such a great design with deep pleats from the waistband in front and elastic around the back which makes the pant super full through the hips. They are ankle length with a slightly tapered leg and the fabric is a soft and flowing 50/50 poly rayon blend. They are so lightweight and comfortable but the colors make them work for warm or cold weather. Shown here with a top that is sold separately but there are so many ways you could wear these pants.
These pants are old new stock pristine perfect with the tags still attached. Brand is "Gran Nouveau" and under the brand tag is a fabric/care/size tag and an ILGWU union tag as well. They are new with no holes, stains or odors, unworn and perfect. They present perfectly with many years of wear to go.
The size tag says L but they are more like a modern small to medium. They are shown here on Annie who is 5'6" with a 34/27/38 and they were darling on her. The measurements are as follows:
Waist - 25.5" - 29"
Hips - open (48")
Rise - 14.5"
Inseam - 28.25"
Length - 41.5"
Leg opening - 7" flat 14" around
