1970's 2-piece knit pant set featuring a beautiful matching top and bottom. The top is a light butter yellow with a red ribbed scoop neckline decorated with blue yellow and red flowers all around the pretty bodice. The red stripe is repeated at the sleeve ends and the bottom hem has navy to tie the flower colors in perfectly. There is also a red tie at the bottom of the shirt. The pants are from the same beautiful soft knit, a bright true red with a high waist, high rise that has thick elastic at the waistline. They have a classic 70s silhouette going wide at the bottoms. This pant set is elegant and crazy comfortable all at the same time.
This set is deadstock with the original tags still attached. Interestingly there is no real brand tag but the tags in the neckline and back of pants say "100% acrylic" with care and origin information. There is also a hangtag on the top in an amazing 70s font that says "full fashion pant set 100% acrylic" and tells us it was made in Korea. This set is pristine perfect, never been worn, with no flaws to report.
Size is a modern small to medium but could fit even bigger if you don't mind it being a bit stretched. The fabric is super soft, easy to wash and wear and has a lovely stretch to it. The model shown is 5'9" and about a size 4/6 and it was darling on her unpinned but could fit bigger as well. The measurements are as follows:
