1950's little girls dark pink chenille robe with a rolled collar and gold buttons down the front that are molded to look like little daisy flowers. This robe has half sleeves with little pin-tucks at the top which create a darling shape. It has the classic 50s chenille robe bell shape with the stripes of chenille diagonally set in back. There is a little pocket on the right side.
I did not discover any tags in this robe. I purchased it from the original owner. She has been clearing out her parents house in southern Idaho. This robe belonged to her and I have one that was her sisters and her little brothers as well. Because of this short owner history the robe is in amazing condition. I gave it a soak and it is as clean as can be. Condition is excellent. There are no holes, stains, or odors, or bald spots. I noticed the tiniest bit of discoloration on the right shoulder, but it is so faint it's hard to even see what I'm referring to. Overall condition is just gorgeous with years of wear to go.
Size is hard to know for sure, but based on the original owners memory, she wore it around age 5-6 years old. The measurements are taken with the tie tied all the way so it could accommodate a bit larger as well.
