Late 1970's to early 1980's plaid shorts in beautiful dark hues of navy, forest green, red, black and yellow. They have pleats on either side in front with a ykk zipper and button closure and elastic around the back. They have generous pockets and are hemmed halfway down the thigh. These shorts give me major old school Gwen Stefani vibes. Darling example of early 80s cool girls streetwear fashion.
The brand tag says "RG New York by Russ Girl" and it tells us it is a division of russ togs inc. made in the U.S.A. There is also a union tag and a care and size tag as well. Condition is excellent! When I bought these the legs were cut off - they were certainly pants at some point. I hemmed them by hand so you wouldn't even know they weren't shorts originally. Freshly washed with no holes, stains, or odors. These are so darling and present like new!
Size is a modern small and they were darling on my model who is a size 4/6. Keep in mind they do have some stretch around the back. The measurements are as follows:
Waist - 25-27" (tight at 27)
Hips - 41"
Rise - 12.25"
Inseam - 7.5"
Length - 18"
Leg opening - 20.5"
