1980's colorful abstract print maxi dress with a sarong style tie over skirt and a blouson top. This beautiful dress has an African art inspired print and beautiful African fashion also the inspiration for the tie on the front of the skirt and the longer silhouette. This dress has a scoop neckline and the fabric has a beautiful feel and movement because it is made from 100% rayon which is so flowy and nice to wear. The tie over part of the skirt is sewn in on either side - but it is in addition to the skirt underneath not in lieu of it. On the right seam is the large flap of the sarong which ties to a smaller flap on the left. Closure is a covered talon zipper in back. This dress is an excellent example of 80s fashion, would be worn as streetwear with a leather jacket and boots or in the office with heels.
I love the super large brand tag which says "WNY" and there is also a lot and care tag under that. The care says to dry clean only but it did great in a delicate cycle and hang dry for me. Freshly laundered with no holes, stains or odors, presents like new - zero flaws to report!
Size is a modern medium to large, the measurements are closer to large, but I think it would be so darling worn loose. The measurements are as follows:

Length - 50"
Please note this is shown clamped on the form but also flat for your reference. It fits me well at 5'6" and 41/31/40, but it is pretty tight so it would look cute on a smaller form as well.
