Early 1960’s vibrant floral dress with abstract flowers in yellow, pink, purple, blue and green. The print fabric feels to me like silk, and it is fully lined. This dress has such thoughtful high end construction. It has a more fitted bodice with cap sleeves and gussets under the arms. There is a side hip bow you can tie in a variety of ways. The skirt is more full with pleats on either side in front and back. Closure is a matching turquoise talon zipper down the back. Such a cool head turning MCM print!
The brand of this dress is "Jane Andre" California. Freshly soaked and steamed, clean as can be. I noticed a tiny spot on the top of the left shoulder where the fabric is a little thin - I've whipped a few stitched around it just to be sure it doesn't go anywhere but it isn't noticeable at all. This dress is in truly excellent condition.
Size is a modern large or around an 8-10. It is cut a bit petite with a shorter waist than many dresses of this size so not ideal if you are long waisted. It is clamped on the form and just barely on the model who is a modern size 6 with a 34/27/39 The measurements are as follows:
Bust - 39"
Waist - 31-31.5"
Hips - open
Shoulder to waist - 14.75"
Waist to hem - 25.5"
