1950's plaid pencil skirt in black and white, double pockets on the left side

$41.00

1950's pencil skirt in black with white stitch plaid. Made from a lovely medium weight fabric that feels like some kind of wool blend to me and has a really pretty speck in the black with tiny hints of red. This skirt is so classic with a timeless pencil silhouette and a kick pleat in back for ease of movement. It has a metal zipper at the side with a button at the waistband for closure. The most distinctive feature of this dress is the double pockets with flaps and buttons on the right side. The top pocket is not functioning but the second pocket is a real pocket. Unlined but the fabric is nice and soft.

I discovered no tags in this skirt, but I would be surprised if it was handmade as the construction is really nice. I found no flaws in this skirt. Truly excellent condition with no holes, stains, or odors. The only reason for the gentle price is the very small size which takes longer to sell. It presents like a dream.

Size XS or about a 2/4. It is quite tight on my model shown who is more like a 4/6 but there is a bit of give in this fabric so we made it work. The measurements are as follows:

Waist - 24"
Hips - 37"
Length - 24.25" (2" seam allowance)
