1950's pencil skirt, knobby textured wool, burnt orange & black speck

1950's pencil skirt in a beautiful knobby wool that has black textured bits on a burnt orange background. Very classic and timeless pencil silhouette, so figure flattering and cute, it looks like what inspired the fashions of vintage chanel. This skirt is beautifully made, fully lined with a metal side zipper and a hook and snap at the top. This is a very versatile piece and the perfect compliment to any vintage wardrobe.

I did not find a brand tag but there is a tag in the inside waistline that says "Made in England" - and it is clearly well made with thoughtful construction. Condition is excellent! No holes, stains or odors, it presents just beautifully!

Please note that the top shown is sold separately and this listing is only for the skirt. My model is a size 4/6 - and it was tight on her, but still looked darling - she would need to move the hook to wear it. I think best fit is a modern size 4. The measurements are as follows:

Waist - 25"
Hips - 35.5"
Length - 23" (but there are a solid 5" of seam allowance)
